Iceland Post's Board

Bjarni Jónsson is chairman of the Board, born in 1966. He is a Historian from the University of Iceland and a Msc. in Fisheries Science from Oregon State University. Bjarni has served on the Board from February 2017. He also sits on the advisory board of the Local Authorities‘ Equalization Fund and a Local Atuhority member in Skagafjörður. Bjarni is director of the Tourist Association of Northwest Iceland. Neither Bjarni nor related parties own shares or stock options in the company or have connections with the customers, competitors or shareholders.         Halldor Gunnarsson           

Halldór Gunnarsson was born in 1941. He was a parish priest and a farmer at Holt farm in South Iceland from 1968 to 2011. In addition, in the social affairs of farmers and sat at Kirkjuþing and Church Council for many years. He was a leader of the People's Party in the North-East constituency in the election in 2017. Neither Halldór nor related parties own any shareholdings or stock options in the company nor have a stakeholder relationship with the main business, competitors or shareholders of the company. Ólöf Kristín Sveinsdóttirwas born in 1965. She graduated as a bookkeeper. Ólöf has served on the Board since March 2014. She does not sit on the boards of other companies. She works as a store manager. Neither Ólöf nor related parties own shares or stock options in the company or have connections with the customers, competitors or shareholders. Ólöf considers herself to be an independent board member.

   
                   

Svanhildur Hólm Valsdóttir is vice chairman of the Board, born in 1974. She is a lawyer. Svanhildur has served on the Board since March 2014. She does not sit on the boards of other companies. Svanhildur is the assistant to the Minister of finance and economic. Neither Svanhildur nor related parties own shares or stock options in the company or have connections with the customers or competitors. She is considered to be dependent to the shareholders, as she is an employee of the Ministry of Finance and Economic's Office.

   

Thomas Mölleris Chairman of the Board, born in 1954. He is an Economic Engineer from the Technical University of Berlin and has an MBA degree from the University of Reykjavik. Thomas has served on the Board of Iceland Post from February 2017. He also sits on the Board of Reitir hf. and Consultis ehf. where he is CEO and owner. Neither Thomas nor related parties own shares or stock options in the company or have connections with the customers, competitors or shareholders. Thomas considers himself to be an independent board member.
