Collect stamps
Collecting stamps is an interest and a passion for some. Iceland Post issues 30 new stamps every year, each individually designed.
Iceland Post operates a club for children who collect stamps, Merkilega klúbbinn (only available in Icelandic) and it has over 1,000 members. On the clubs website you will find jokes, short stories and pen pals.
Iceland Post's Postphil has it's own website were you can buy stamps online, Stamps.is. Stamps.is is in five languages since Icelandic stamps are sought after around the world.
The Icelandic Stampcollectors Assosiation was established in 1957. On frimerki.is/ff (only available in Icelandic) you can find more information about the assosiation and its operation.
